Video: Leafs lose Freddy Andersen and the game in spectacularly shitty fashion. Again.

The Maple Leafs are FINE!
Anderson out – Hutchinson in
Here was where #LeafsForever Frederik Anderson was run into by #FlaPanthers Frank Vatrano pic.twitter.com/xT0gb8ukqf— Here’s Your Replay ⬇️ (@HeresYourReplay) February 4, 2020
Frank Vatrano certainly didn’t need to Chris Kreider Freddy with his skates at the end but Muzzin’s gotta feel like shit right now for the knee that finished him off.
This wasn’t his first hit to the head tonight either.
It happened earlier in the first and credit to the concussion spotters and team staff for yanking him and I mean it. I question whether or not that happens if Mike Babcock is still coaching the team. Seriously. Matthias and I discussed it and Babcock wasn’t a fan of concussions or a player’s health in general.
This reportedly is the cause of Andersen’s upper body injury late in the first period, not the collision with Vatrano. #Leafs pic.twitter.com/aXxXqiMt1c

Freddy was taken out according to concussion protocol even though he looked like he wanted to keep playing. He was sensational tonight btw. He just finished making two point-blank saves from 15 feet.
With the playoffs around the corner, it’s not ideal.
Hutch has to keep playing like he’s played over the past month and it’s never been more evident Dubas is on the verge of a deal with 30 scouts/team reps in the building for tonight’s game. But Hutch, can keep it together right?
Packed house tonight in Toronto for FLA/TOR, as 16 NHL teams have reps on sched for game: COL (3), STL, BOS, SJ, DAL, BUF, NYI, MTL, WPG (2), CHI, VGK, CBJ (2), LA, NAS, DET, TB (& SEA)
Note on COL, Sakic & crew here but Avs play in BUF tmrw, so likely taking advantage of sched

What I’m saying is the Maple Leafs are fucking pot-committed to getting into the playoffs so don’t be surprised when you see names like Byfuglien or Georgiev linked to the Toronto in the next 2 days. Equally, don’t be surprised to see the names ‘Sleepy Kapanen’ or ‘Spacially Challenged Ceci’ linked to anywhere else but here.
Ceci looks clueless out there tonight btw.
Freddy’s a loss but let’s nut up a little as fans for Christ Sake. Hutch gets to prove he’s an NHL goaltender, changes are coming and you need to relax. Right? OMG Ceci loses his man again…4-3 Florida…Jesus.

Mancuso says Leaf psychos are the worst fans on the planet. Don’t prove him right. Again.
Lol what a stupid goal song! https://t.co/6NItHC6fSo

Scratch that. Hutch just shit the bed, coughing up a 2 goal lead in the 3rd Leafs lose 5-3 and Cody Ceci needs to go figure it out somewhere else. Not here and not for 20 minutes a night.
Ceci too

The Cody Ceci Experience.

This is bad.
Florida scores in the empty net. #LeafsForever

That was a BIG loss to Florida btw, and an ugly way to lose against a conference playoff rival. I just wanted you to know in case you don’t already so you get how really shitty that ‘L’ feels right now ON TOP of losing your starting goaler.
