Video – Maple Leafs Use Secondary Scoring To Make The Devils Look Bad Friday Night
The Toronto Maple Leafs put on a hall of fame performance Friday night at Scotiabank arena.
With the 2018 class of Hall of Famers on hand, the likes of Ron Hainsey, Andreas Johnsson, and Connor Brown stole the show as the Maple Leafs made the Devils look bad on a rare Friday night home game.
For Johnsson, it was his first and much-needed tally of the season, and it’s was about damn time as he had two or three grade-A chances in the game before potting home a Jake Gardiner rebound. Earlier in the game, ‘Johnny’ had a partial breakaway/ 2 on 1, and he didn’t even get a shot off.
Matt Frattin in the playoffs in Boston, anyone?
Freddie Anderson was a machine and for all the haters saying he’s a slow starter and it’s going to take him months to get going again, you can all stuff a Maple Danish in yo’ mouth.
Peep the game recap below, these videos are a perfect re-cap if your wife or girlfriend made you go to some stupid dinner party you didn’t want to go to last night, or if you already watched the game and missed most of it cause you were trying to play Super Dad during the broadcast and missed half the goals.
Next up, Sparks in Boston on a Saturday night. Anyone else nervous?
