Dude didn’t ‘accidentally’ get that drunk.  He wanted to erase the day from his future memory because this is not what he wants for his life.  He started drinking at 7 am in hopes to get blackout by the time the ceremony rolled around and ‘job done’.   Epic.

This should be most people on their wedding day come to think of it.

A lifetime of putting someone first who doesn’t put you first.

A lifetime of putting up with someone else’s bullshit, and being told what your doing wrong or not doing enough of.

A Lifetime.  LIFETIME.

No Bueno.  Marriage is a cultish institution meant to do nothing for the other person other than servitude and day to day inconvenience.

So he gets that drunk.  Big deal.

The day I got married, I had the shits and wanted to leave before I got there.  I bet it’s the same feeling gambling addicts have prior to promising a loan shark to pay back the 300K knowing full well he will never be able to meet that responsibility.

Marriage is a right of passage into a life where everyone’s miserable.  A ticket to the shittiest ride ever.

If you’re lucky, you’ll get some kids out of it but generally speaking, that’s where the benefit ends (maybe a couple of tax benefits too but that’s about it).

Don’t do it.  You don’t need it any more than you need to pay someone to follow you around daily asking for bits of your self-confidence.  In fact, that may be cheaper and less involved.  I’ve learned my lesson.  One and out, kids.

I said I’d give marriage 10 years and I did.
