Video: Ref Gets Brutally Body Slammed In A Youth Basketball Game And He Totally Deserved It

Normally I’m hard on Ref abuse but when the Ref swings first, all bets are off.
NYPOST: A referee was body-slammed following a disagreement with a spectator at a girls basketball game this week in Indiana — and police are investigating the violent incident.
Late in the first quarter of a matchup between Indiana Elite and Baylor Basketball (not associated with Baylor University), a Baylor coach disputed a call with a referee during a stoppage in play, the Indianapolis Star reported.
As the Baylor coach and players began to leave the court, a male spectator approached the official and began to record the encounter on his phone. The spectator began berating the referee, which prompted the referee to slap him before the two went at each other.
The incident occurred at the Pacers Athletic Center in the Indianapolis suburb of Westfield.
One of the Baylor players joined in and repeatedly hit the official, while another male spectator started to attack the referee as well.
This is all on Stripes. Yellow Shirt Dad was recording the ref for a reaction. I doubt this is the reaction he was looking for.
After taking a swing at Yellow Shirt Dad, it was on. Yellow Shirt’s daughter came flying in to help out only to take a shot from Stripes and that sent Yellow Shirt to the fucking moon.
After landing a few solid rights, Yellow Shirt went full WWE with an old school reverse body slam which put an end to Stripes in a hurry.
Stripes probably didn’t think Yellow Shirt Dad had the balls and he thought wrong. His influence as a ref stopped the second he hit Yellow Shirt Dad and natural consequences became the order of the day.
I don’t hate this. If that’s an umpire at one of my sons’ baseball games, he’d be eating dinner through a straw for 4-6 weeks. Minimum.
Solid reminder to all dickhead officials who trip over your self-importance: The game has to end sometime.
