Video Of Jon Rahm Getting Told He Tested Positive For Covid As He Walks Off 18 With A 6 Shot Lead The Memorial, Is Soul CRUSHING

As far as televised ‘terrible moments’, this has to be up there.

What a fucking NIGHTMARE.
Literally walking off the green at 18 with a 6 shot lead, the PGA Tour’s medical advisor had to tell Rahm his latest COVID test came back positive and his tournament was over. Just like that, Jon Rahm went from a slam dunk win on the PGA tour to quarantining in his basement for 14 days.
Rahm released a statement saying all the right stuff, so prayers-up for the big Spaniard. He’s one of the most well-liked guys on tour and even though the field is now wide open today, those guys will be pulling for Rahm.
Rahm probably kissed off 2 million in prize money and another couple million in sponsor bonuses (assuming a 6 stroke lead holds up, which it would have), so it super sucks.
If Dechambeau tested positive for Covid with a 6 stroke lead going into Sunday, the field would throw a beach party in one of the bunkers, btw.
Bryson DeChambeau vs Brooks Koepka
Can we pair these two together for every round for the yest of their careers?
The rivalry is just fun!

They used to say a bad day golfing is better than a good day working. John Rahm begs to differ this morning.
Get well soon big fella.
