Source: Die Woodys was a short-lived German hit duo of the 1980s, which gained notoriety in the 2010s by a published on the Internet television appearance.

The group consisted of Pascal Marshall, the son of Tony Marshall, and his friend Thomas. The lyrical concept of Woody’s revolved around the forest “Fichtl”, which was to warn people of the forest dying and was also available as a merchandising figure. An album produced by Tony Marshall called The World of Woody’s came out on Teldec in 1984.

A recording from the show The superhit parade of folk music, in which the Woody’s performed their single Fichtl’s song, gained prominence in the 2010s, when it was uploaded to YouTube. In 2017, a new version of Fichtl’s song was released.

Good.  Great. The Die Woodys are fine.

How about the jibs on the guy with the organ?

Looks like his tongue is in jail.

He’s why I didn’t suggest you drop acid.  That’s a fucking terrible trip waiting to happen that might lead to an episode requiring medical attention.  This was filmed before a live studio audience who LOVED it.

They must have smoked a ton of pot in ’80s Germany.
