Source – Russian President Vladimir Putin smirked as he was asked by a journalist if the country was responsible for the poisoning of former spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter on UK soil.
The BBC’s Moscow Correspondent Steve Rosenberg stepped forward to ask the leader if Russia was behind the Novichok nerve agent attack on the former spy, 66, and his 33-year-old daughter in Salisbury.
Mr Putin, who was being filmed by the news cameras as he visited Russia’s National Grain Centre on Monday, smirked before side-stepping the question.
