The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed free agent quarterback and former first round draft pick Mitch Trubisky.

This move has made sense for weeks. The Steelers currently have Mason Rudolph and Dwayne Haskins on their roster, and Pittsburgh needed to add another arm to battle it out for the starting role. Trubisky backed up Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen last season and never had a chance to start. 

There are many people who believe that Trubisky was set up to fail in Chicago, and that the Bears never equipped him with any sort of offensive line. The Steelers have complimentary pieces that could protect Trubisky, and give him a chance to have some success.
