VIDEO: The Foo Fighters And Dave Chapelle Played MSG And That Means Concerts Are SO Fucking Back!

Jun 21, 2021

This is beautiful, and I hate Radiohead.

The Foo Fighters played the first sold-out post-pandemic show at MSG last night and it was a thing of beauty.

You don’t need to love the Foo’s or Chappelle to love seeing 20k people at an indoor concert singing their guts out while they’re half in the bag.

When we were 18 months into this pandemic with no fucking end in sight, the idea of an indoor concert or having an arena full of was gross to me but knew they would signal a return to life as we knew it.

For the record, only fully vaccinated people were allowed to attend.

Fucking hilarious.

Have you noticed that no one has protested any of these fully vaccinated shows?  At least we haven’t seen it.  It’s pathetically hypocritical too.  I thought these anti-science freedom fighters were fighting for the ability to go to shows like this but when the rubber meets the road, they apparently only protest once a week and not on Sunday nights.

It’s gonna happen in Canada VERY soon.  Ontario only announced 270 new cases today with a 1.7 percent positivity rate and Canadians have officially reached that all-important 75% first dose/20% second dose marker so it’s a matter of time.  And not months, more like weeks.

Concerts, baseball, basketball, and hockey games.  Shitty weddings and 50th-anniversary parties. and all the awful shit, too – it’s all coming back whether you like it or not.

I  can’t wait to complain about the first post-pandemic wedding reception I have to attend.   I’ll still hate every minute of the event but the complaining about it will feel like home.

We’re so back.
