Hell in the cell at Scotiabank. The Leafs were prepared for this. #LeafsForever

Hell in A Cell indeed. Thanks Biz for the perfect analogy.
If you are a Toronto Maple Leafs fan you hope that TML keeps that same energy throughout the entire series. A lot of people were questioning the decision to sit Jason Spezza for Clifford and Simmonds. However it seemed that the lads set the tone early.
5 and a game for Clifford. Thoughts? pic.twitter.com/WQNNRDVlnu

Not a great second hit for Cliff, however the 5 minute peanlty kill injected life into the Leafs.
To Wayne Simmonds who was a thorn in the side of Tampa Bay all game.
This Simmonds hit got the crowd roaring #LeafsForever pic.twitter.com/bhaollzGAh

It’s NO secret you need gritt and body checking to win in the playoffs. If last night was any indication the Leafs are not going be pushed around this series. Clifford is getting a game and we’ll have to wait and see if Simmonds gets anything for that dust up, but if I was Keefe I would keep both those boys in the lineup.
Let me be clear, I am not planning the parade. We are talking about the 2-time definding Stanley Cup Champions here. Expect a BIG bounce back game on Wednesday. That coupled with everything going right for the Maple Leafs on Monday night, we still have a series on our hands.
However if Matthews and Marner show up each night, coupled with some tough play the Leafs may have a shot in this series. Take a deep breath Leafs Nation, it’s only game 1.
The Oilers also lost, suck it Lochlin.
