In the world of piece of shit moves, this is a pretty big piece of shit move. Some context. The Flyers are out of a playoff spot, traded their captain, and decided to sit one of the most likable players in the league ending his ironman streak 11 games away from 1000.

I get it when teams are struggling and want to give their young guys experience and/or an audition at the end of the year. But it feels SO unnecessary for a tire fire team such as the Flyer to scratch the one veteran on the roster who actually has something to play for. Yandle got to play every day until he was 35 years old. That is bananas. 989 straight NHL games. Of course one of the biggest pieces of shit leagues out there continue to stake their reputation.

Yandle has a presser and handled the scratching with absolute class. Good dude. Unreal career.

I still think Mike Yeo is a BOZO and s POS and this decision proves it and the NHL players will not forget.

Where is Mike Babcock coaching right now? Oh, Saskatchewan. Thought so.
