Assuming he scores at his current clip, he’s on pace for 400 pts (135) tying him with Jari Kurri for 33 all-time for the most points in a season. Do you know how fucking insane that is? In 2014/15 Jamie Benn was your points leader with 87.
Scoring’s up but the separation between Kucherov/Tampa and the rest of the players/league isn’t even close. He’s 14 pts clear of McDavid in the scoring race and the Lightning’s record looks like they had a month head start on the rest of the teams in the NHL.
Last night, Stamkos and Kucherov rubbed it in the Stanley Cup Champions face in OT and it looked like street hockey. Hey, Leaf fans. Suck the marrow out of the playoffs. It doesn’t look like it matters.
