Source Anesti Danelis, a Toronto-based musical and sketch comedian, turned many people’s fantasies into a reality when he said goodbye to his job of three and a half years with an original song he titled ‘F**k This, I Quit.’
In the video he shared on YouTube and Twitter on December 9, Anesti has his guitar in his hands as he addresses the customers and employees at the Starbucks in Toronto’s west end.
This makes me happy. I’m captain ‘Anti’ so when a young man quits his shitty job with a song, a guitar and the line “Shove it up your Venti Bumhole” I’m all in. Enjoy.
We’re like ants. We accept being mistreated at work in favor of a paycheck. We allow others to treat us like shit or commodities and walk out the front door with our tail between our legs when it doesn’t work out.
Anesti Danelis is the working man’s hero. He chose to creatively move on with his life and do something for everyone else still trapped in Barista hell slinging egregiously priced gourmet sandwiches or coffee with ‘Extra Foam’.
