VIDEO: Toronto ER Dr. Michael Warner’s Story About A 40 Year Old Woman He Lost To Covid19 Yesterday, Is Heartbreaking

I watched Dr. Warner tell this story on CBC Newsnet this morning.
He’s been targeted by Doug Ford’s conservative government numerous times for speaking truth to power about the realities of the COVID19 pandemic, and he’s still working to save lives.
He lost one yesterday and it’s a story that needs to be shared.
MUST WATCH
Dr. Michael Warner walks us through the story of one patient.
A woman in her 40s who got Covid. Earlier today he fought to save her life.
But before the day ended Covid stole her from us.
Please listen to @drmwarner share his anger and heartbreak. pic.twitter.com/LzreBOxwrS

It’s one thing to know people are dying. It’s a different kind of knowledge when you’re the one who has to see it first have every day at work.
My heart goes out to all of our front-line workers not engaged in cognitive dissonance. The burden of dealing with death and negativity daily has to be soul-crushing.
I can’t help but think of this woman’s family members saying goodbye while she was prone, hooked up to a ventilator, alone and in pain. I can’t help but get physically angry at those who are choosing their personal freedoms over preventing this woman’s family’s pain and suffering X 23,000.
Human life isn’t sacred to those who don’t give a shit. These people don’t give a fuck if they die so they certainly don’t care if you do.
Dr. Warner’s story is one of 23,000. Think about this story being told 23,000 times then tell me there’s no pandemic.
Fuck your alt-right agenda and fuck your God deeply with an upside-down crucifix if these stories don’t matter to you just like it doesn’t matter to Doug Ford.
Killer lockdown, Doug… pic.twitter.com/Mkq5Ctoeqa
