Let’s start the week off with some serious political SCHADENFREUDE and a pro tip for Canada’s governing party.  If your plan is to label your political opponents as liars, it’s best not to do it by lying your dirty asshole off.

CBC: A video tweeted by incumbent Liberal candidate Chrystia Freeland, who served as deputy prime minister in Justin Trudeau’s government, was given a warning label Sunday from Twitter, which marked it as “manipulated media.”

Freeland’s tweets, posted in both English and French, contain several edits and shows Conservative leader Erin O’Toole answering a question about privatized health care during an online question-and-answer session in July 2020 during the Conservative leadership race.

The tweet shows O’Toole being asked if he would bring private, “for-profit” health care to Canada. He responds unequivocally: “yes.” 

However, in the original recording of O’Toole’s remarks on heath care — which can be seen here at about the 12:30 mark — the Conservative leader also noted that universal access remains paramount. 

The shortened clip used in Freeland’s tweet did not include O’Toole’s statement on ensuring universal access.

Trudeau retweeted an English version of the video and referenced it during a speech Sunday on the campaign trail in New Brunswick.

A great look for Canada’s governing party.  They don’t look desperate at all.

Speaking of desperation, this is Canada’s deputy PM Chrystia Freeland.  She’s probably a nice person but holy fuck is she a spin show.  She had a full-on meltdown this weekend in front of her offices after new polling numbers put her and her idiot boss a couple of points behind O’Toole and the CPC.  The Liberals had a fucking DISASTEROUS first week (in case you were wondering) and it’s been fucking AWESOME to watch.

It’s a majority or bust for our fucking moron PM and a status quo minority government would be considered a fucking HUGE political failure.  Trudeau called this snap election with 3 years left on his stupid fucking woke mandate.  That’s why he’s putting out fake videos of his opponents.

That’s why his deputy PM acted like a fucking crazy person in front of her riding office.

Trudeau is a fraud and he’s showing out right now because the bloom is off the fucking rose for Canadians.   No one goes to his announcements or rallies, which is why you never get video’s of pictures of crowds at his tour stops.  There are none.

The ruling party sets and makes every election timeline which makes his flailing even funnier to me.

Can you imagine a CPC/NDP Government/Official Oppo?  Maybe that’s what we need?  My money is on Canadians telling Trudeau to fuck right off with the same mandate we gave him two years ago, but maybe Jagmeet can keep O’Toole honest while given that smug fuck and his Liberal friends a time out for a few years.
