I’m fairly certain she said “shut up asshole” to Fat Burt Reynolds. I guess Kawhi’s dad wasn’t much of a talker.
And if you’re Kawhi’s mom, pimping his jersey at a game is a dick move (I like it, but a dick move) for a city that’s still waiting to take out the stitches Kawhi left behind when he split for Anywhere Else.
I actually respect the Spurs Fans for their merciless tribute of Kawhi. He shafted the city and we benefitted so I’m not complaining but let’s call this straight; Kawhi basically faked an injury to get out of San Antonio and if you’re from San Antonio, you absolutely have a right to be pissed. You also got to see a blowout win and Demar get his first triple-double.

Now, I HIGHLY doubt that will matter in the spring and I’ve seen enough Kawhi be smart about my reaction to this nationally televised vaunted meeting of the Savior and the Guy Who Couldn’t.
It’s called personal growth.
