Video: What The Fuck Are We Doing Here???

Let me just start by saying, I’m not mad.  I was disappointed, but disappointment is nothing more than ‘unmet expectations’ according to psychology.
I was expecting to be vaccinated with the Pfizer COVID19 Vaccine after making an appointment with my local health authority yesterday. Upon checking in I was told my postal code wasn’t a hot zone and I’d have to come back another day.

Here’s the thing.  To make a vaccination appointment, you need to create an account with your legitimate home address.  You can’t book an appointment if the postal code connected to your address on your profile doesn’t match a hot zone.  The software won’t let you get past booking a time because it recognizes your postal code.

This is the receipt from booking the vaccination appointment with my home address and postal code.

So, I got fucked.  Big deal.  Who hasn’t been fucked over during the pandemic?

But, what the fuck are we doing here?

Honest to god.  if it’s not me, then it’s another 48-year-old who showed up to be part of the solution and you won’t let them based on a new list?  Is that how we’re dealing with trying to save lives and small businesses?  By turning people away who showed up to help and keep their families safe?

A lot of woke feminists shit on me for shitting on socialized medicine, but that’s the impetus for all the bureaucracy behind a postal code that prevented someone from getting vaccinated when that person qualified the day before.
And listen, I left kindly and quietly because the good people there trying to facilitate everything don’t need another crazy fuckface running around like a lunatic demanding his privilege be noted. So if the same thing happens to you, don’t act like a tool. It’s not a front-line worker’s fault.

Doug…Figure. It. Out.
