Make fun of these wieners if you like but NOTHING makes a religious ‘Wheel’ watcher come to life like 3 contestants who clearly should not be contestants on Wheel Of Fortune. This kind of disaster activates loser wordsmiths while going viral which translates to ratings and if there’s ONE thing more important than not bullying dumb people on TV, it’s using dumb people for sweet, sweet, ratings.
Our brains are wired for trainwrecks and outrage and social media is designed to reward outrage so shit like this is EXACTLY what a 35-year-old game show needs to survive in the digital age. Idiots.
