Vince McMahon announces the rebirth of the XFL
Vince McMahon announces the rebirth of the XFL.
Vince McMahon and Alpha Entertainment held a digital press conference today announcing that the XFL was back. The conference was slightly vague, but I walked away impressed overall. It seems, and I want to emphasize the word SEEMS, that Vince McMahon has learned from his mistakes from the initial attempt at the XFL.
McMahon stated that they plan to take two years to ensure that the new XFL is done right. The new focus will be on the quality of play and the fan experience. The WWE CEO said that he plans on taking a backseat for the new XFL. He plans on bringing in football minded people and experts to guide the new XFL. Which was something he implied hurt the original XFL.
