Source: Fred VanVleet only hit three of the 11 three-point attempts he took Wednesday night. But man, they were big ones.

The reserve point guard hit a trio of late fourth-quarter threes to help the injury-depleted Toronto Raptors steal a 99-96 come-from-behind win over the Indiana Pacers.

VanVleet contributed 11 points in place of the injured all-star Kyle Lowry, shining down the stretch after going 1-of-12 from the field through the first three quarters. Kawhi Leonard led Toronto with 28 points, Pascal Siakam had 17 and Greg Monroe added 13. The Raps escaped with a win in a game they had trailed by as much as 17, snapping a two-game losing skid.

“It takes a lot of energy to play that bad then that good at the end,” said VanVleet. “It was a rollercoaster of emotions and energy and effort. Those ones feel good, just walking back to the locker room knowing that you probably snuck out of there with one.”

The NBA leading Raptors improve to 24-9 after the victory, while the Pacers slip to 20-12, falling to fourth in the Eastern Conference behind Milwaukee and Philadelphia.

FVV bets on himself, and Wednesday night vs the Pacers, he hit a key hand.

Steady Freddy’s three-ball late sealed the victory for the Raptors as they once again proved they can win just about any which way.

Kawhi Leonard had some bounce Wednesday, as he laid down this lefty smash:

And here’s the rest of the tape, as the Raptors continue to roll.
