Watch: This Robert Vargas Eddie Van Halen Mural Is Awesome!
This is pretty amazing! KXFM 104.7 FM on-air personality Leeza London recently posted an eight minute video of artist Robert Vargas working on a tribute mural to late-great Eddie Van Halen. Vargas is painting the side of the Guitar Center in Hollywood, California and the official unveiling is planned for January 26!
This isn’t the only EVH mural that’s gained some media attention. You may remember, closer to home, legendary airbrush artist Paul Archer painted Eddie on the back wall of Archer Airbrushing in Victoria, B.C. (below).
Eddie Van Halen passed away at the age of 65 in October 2020.
R.I.P. Eddie. Clearly you touched so many lives and the tributes and honours keep pouring in. You are dearly missed.
