Well, That Was Fucking Pointless

Sep 21, 2021

I don’t want to spend a lot of time breaking down this fucking needless election.  I don’t give a single fuck about Justin Trudeau or Erin O’Toole or the process of playing politics on the backs of 35 million people who are really tired.

Trudeau wanted more power and we told him to fuck his hat.

O’Toole wanted to remake Canada in his Conservative image and we told him this isn’t 1955.

Jagmeet got a nice bump for being a nice guy.

Trudeau gained NOTHING and needlessly spent 700 million in taxpayer money to do it, which is absolutely criminal to me.

The only positive I can take from this is Canadians telling politicians to shut the fuck up and to do what we told them to do the first fucking time but it’s a shitty and expensive consolation prize.  Trudeau stole from us to fund a failed attempt to grab more power, making us sicker and poorer in the process, which is COMPLETELY immoral in the context of our time.

I still don’t trust him and neither do you. That’s what another minority government says.

In fact, I’d say yesterday’s result was a giant “Fuck YOU!” to every politician who took advantage of a sick country hoping to use us while we’re struggling to get up off the mat.

Trudeau LOST by virtue of us telling him he didn’t deserve a majority and he needs to resign.  He abused his oath to protect Canadians by calling this election 3 years early.

O’Toole lost because he pretended to be something he’s not and couldn’t beat the most USELESS PM in modern history.

Jagmeet kind of won but not really.

The winners last night?  You and me, but it cost $700 million that could have propped up thousands of small businesses or helped single mothers afford rent and groceries.  $700 million would have been better spent on providing mental health support for pandemic weary Canadians.  Trudeau says these things are important when he asks for your vote, but that’s it.

Ask Canada’s indigenous people how delicious their arsenic-laced tapwater tastes 7 years later.  They know.

O’Toole wouldn’t have worked for the greater good of this country or its citizens and told us that when he refused to mandate vaccines, told us AR-15’s were cool and abortion wasn’t, so we went back to the great white fraud. At least he looks good in G7 photos and acts like the pandemic is real.

That was the bar to be PM this time around which is fucked in itself.

The good news?

O’Toole is up for a “leadership review” and will probably lose his job as Conservative Leader.

Vaccine Bernier lost his riding and the PPC party was shut out because they’re a bunch of crazy fucks who embrace hatred as a rule.  This made me happy, btw.  It’s called ‘Schadenfreude’.  When bad things happen to bad people, Dean gets filled with joy.

Trudeau flat out embarrassed himself, and this stupid fucking pandemic election is another stain on his virtue-signalling do nothing legacy.  That’s what he is.  A national embarrassment that probably isn’t as embarrassing as the other national embarrassments who want to lead.  Trudeau is responsible for the rise of the PPC. Trudeau is responsible for wasting $700 million on a failed vanity project.

As weird as this might sound, Canadians won yesterday.  We didn’t want ‘change’ (of the kind of change they were selling) and we told them that in a big, bad way.  It wasn’t safe or convenient but we stood up for each other yesterday and I like that about us.

We didn’t legitimize Vaccine Bernier’s attempt to organize hate.

We kept a valueless Erin O’Toole away from 24 Sussex.

We told Trudeau to shut the fuck up and get back to work.

We gave Jagmeet an accountability bump.

If you’re looking for a silver lining, I guess you could say we came together by simply putting an ‘X’ on a piece of paper that really mattered to all Canadians.   Canada and Canadian democracy ‘worked’ yesterday and while the material outcome was pointless, we should take comfort in the fact our differences saved our bacon.

Next up?  getting to the bottom of ALL THIS:

I give it 6 months.
