“We’ve talked about creating our own record label from the very beginning.” Rival Sons Launch Record Label!

Two-time-Grammy-nominated band Rival Sons has launched their own record label, Sacred Tongue Recordings, with distribution through Thirty Tigers!

You’ll love this story. They recently got the master rights to some of their early releases and you’ll hear remastered versions of their independent full-length debut LP, “Before The Fire” (2009), and self-titled EP “Rival Sons” (2010) on March 26.

Regarding their new record label, they said, “We’ve talked about creating our own record label from the very beginning. It’s about creating a good home for our back catalogue as the Rival Sons community continues to grow together worldwide. The band has always maintained a stance of independence and sole custody of our early works was the long game. Introducing Sacred Tongue Recordings, a Rival Sons record label.”

Rival Sons are working on the follow up to 2019’s “Feral Roots”. That album got them a 2020 Grammy Award nomination for “Best Rock Album” and “Best Rock Performance” for the song “Too Bad”.

Are you surprised more ‘bigger’ bands don’t do this? Create your own label. Release your own music and bands you believe in.

This is the way.
