Making a Futures bet and laying money down on who you believe could be the next Super Bowl champion, would be the equivalent of finding a needle in a haystack. 

When you are looking at making a pre-draft bet, the best thing to do is look at what gives you the best value. When I took a look at the current odds, the Las Vegas Raiders at + 3500 is the best value on the board.

That doesn’t mean I think they’re a lock to win the Super Bowl, it just means that if I was going to put money down, the return is too great to ignore. 

Don’t forget, you should never bet with money you can’t afford to lose. When you have that mentality you’ll be able to take a risk. The best bang for my buck is the Raiders.

You can definitely make a logical argument that Las Vegas could win the Super Bowl. Their offense is loaded with Derek Carr at quarterback, Davante Adams, Hunter Renfroe, and Darren Waller catching passes. The defense is legit with Maxx Crosby and Chandler Jones, and Josh McDaniels is a proven coordinator who could become a great head coach.  

So no, Las Vegas winning the Super Bowl is not a lock by any stretch of the imagination, however if you’re looking for a dark horse to put some money on, Vegas could be that team.
