Think back to the first time you saw a Coke-a-Cola Freestyle machine in the wild. You were probably at the movies and suddenly faced with endless possibilities. Did you pick Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Sprite or Rootbeer? With vanilla, raspberry, cherry, lime, or cherry vanilla? You probably panicked and just picked plain old Coke. Now picture yourself at your local fast-food restaurant being faced with up to 200 options for condiments.
Introducing the Heinz Remix machine.
The new machine, which the company claims to have developed from concept in just six months, can create up to 200 sauce combinations from a base of sauces that includes ketchup, ranch, Heinz 57 Sauce, and BBQ Sauce. From there, the customers can mix in what the company calls “enhancers, ” including jalapeño, smoky chipotle, buffalo, and mango at varying intensities (low, medium, high). – The Spoon
This thing looks incredible. Personally, I want to play with some version of a spicy ranch. The only downside I can see is that the cup is not nearly full enough. I’m not an American but I’ve got an American-sized appetite and 1/4 of a cup is not going to do it. Fill that shit up. Let’s do this!
