Round 2 has has started and is in progress, so I know I am late to the party but here we go.

Round 1 I went 2/4 and even got Carolina in 5 correct, but let’s march to round 2.

Yesterday saw Carolina open there second round series against the New York Rangers who steam rolled the Capitals in a 4 game sweep. The Rangers yesterday improved to 5-0 in the playoffs with a 4-3 win. Now if you didn’t see the articles photo, I do think Carolina will win this series. This may age badly but I truly buy into Carolinas all or nothing attitude, the fact that alot of players are probably gone after the year, including maybe head coach Rod Brind’Amour. New York is really good but Carolina is a more well rounded team and Igor can only take New York so far. Hurricanes in 6.

Florida VS Boston, EW. Now we have to pick a winner, obviously Boston beat Toronto in 7 and Florida handled Tampa in 5 games. These two teams faced off last year where Boston was a powerhouse who coughed up a 3-1 lead and Florida ran to a cup final appearance. Now the roles are somewhat reversed as Florida is the favourite and won the Atlantic Division. I do think history repeats itself as Florida is well rested and Boston showed a lot of non perfect flaws against Toronto even in victory. Plus the Panthers are dialed and I think they can out physical the rats of Boston and like a certain Boston captain did VS Toronto. Panthers in 5.
