Video: Is Pierre Poilievre A Drunk Or Just An Authoritarian Asshole?

May 1, 2024

PeePee (Pierre Poilievre) is Canada’s Ted Cruz with Donald Trump’s dreams.

He’s smug. Repeats every bullshit slogan instead of anything fact-based or educational. He hates the country he wants to run, the people in it, and anyone who knows him hates him. The people who like him aren’t very bright, or they have a vested interest that lives with his floating authoritarian values.

Over the past two weeks, we’ve watched him Luanch Fundraisers with lies and stunts. He refused to disavow Alex Jones or support for racists and white supremacists and showed up (allegedly drunk) at a Fuck Trudeau homeless encampment.

Dealing with the “Allegedly Drunk” part is essential. It speaks to the idea that we’re OK with a dude who might have some significant personal issues running our country, making/changing our laws, and having access to your tax dollars.

People ask me about PeePee’s erratic behavior all the time. Generally, he acts like a child. He is triggered, angry, and emotional. You can see it when he responds to any question he doesn’t like or when someone catches him on one of his daily lies. (He averages about 84 lies a day in QP.)

So, is he an authoritarian? Is he drunk? Or just an asshole.

Yes.

Only an authoritarian employs the idea we need to harden the police state or remove bail and due process from the Charter of Rights and Freedoms our democratic Republic is built on. This week, PeePee told a group of Cops he’d change those laws and scrap the criminal justice system for a better one of his choosing. He added he has the right to do it because he’ll be democratically elected as Canada’s PM, so he can and will.

MMMM. Nothing like a dude yet to be robed in extreme power swinging that little dick energy around to make us wonder how hard he’ll try to fuck us all over because “I can.”

His 115 whoppers today shouldn’t give anyone any comfort when he little dicks it in front of cameras like to authoritarian asshole he is.

Of course, he might just be battling jitters due to withdrawal. These aren’t the actions of someone in control or emotionally centered. Rumors of Poilievere’s “erratic” behavior during a bullshit XMAS voting session of parliament where he was flailing around slurring after returning from a $ 1500-a-plate fundraiser.

Last week’s “wobbly” dropped in at a “Fuck Trudeau” encampment where he appeared disheveled and FUCKED UP didn’t make me feel great about giving him unlimited power either. It’s not like a heavy drinker can’t be great at their job, but not that job. Not with that kind of power. Not when the dude can control any impulse to do or say the selfish thing according to his values, which change according to his feelings and what he thinks his cabal/donors want.

It’s Not A Conservative Thing

I’ve only ever voted conservative. I’m not Conservative, but I voted according to what was suitable for my job and the people who employed me. The media is somewhat sick that way. You get to be friends with political elites and get to know them in ways you wish you didn’t. I know WAY too much about the quality of the character of some very influential politicians and business dicks who raise money and support both Cons and Libs. What I see in all of them is that same smug, entitled, alcoholic, untouchable vibe. And yes, I’ve been drunk with lots of these twats.

I’m also a card-carrying member of the sober community who can spot trouble in faces others can’t, like a bullshit sniffer only for unhinged people who’ve destroyed their nervous system or impulse control with drugs and alcohol. And trust me, there’s nothing more cultural in Canadian politics than crushing lines on the back of a urinal or in their parliamentary offices, washing it down with some Cutty Sark or a nice glass of Vodka or Yellowtail.

People with free lives, tax-free incomes, housing allowances, 200k pensions, and the power to change laws, with drinking and impulse control issues, shouldn’t be near any lever of power, especially levers that determine their quality of life.

I feel sorry for the average human who struggles with life because of their addiction, but not these people. Not with what’s at stake. Not when mistrust in our bloated institutions, including the political industry, continually steals for people with low incomes to reward the mega-wealthy who return the favor by pouring money into Conservative Funds.

Like Galen Weston, the owner of Loblaws, who employs Polievere’s Chief Of Staff, Jenni Byrne, as their Chief Lobbyist, Galen is okay with an authoritarian (and alleged drunk) running the country because he knows he can force a favorable determination from PeePee that benefits his shareholders and family members. Galen and other Galens don’t give a single shit about 97% of Canadians, so of course, they want someone to jail “the poor,” and any drunk authoritarian can do that.

A person with an addiction living on the street, a single mother of four who can’t afford groceries, a family of an LGBTQ youth, or a person of color who might get rounded up and sent to jail for 5-7 years would not be with an authoritarian PM. The poor and marginalized don’t make the rules, though.

I guess the answer to the title of this post is “Yes.” Or “Yes” and “Maybe”.

And you shouldn’t beokayK with either. Take away the fact he still refuses to allow himself or his new family to sit for a NatSec background check, and I’m shocked anyone in this country thinks he’s an option to lead a team of fucking groomers at Petsmart.

“The only fruit in this life is good character and acts for the common good.”

A choice between feckless or drunk authoritarian is an easy choice. I wish we had more of them (choices).
