Good Morning to Gamble’s Friday Fourcast: November 13th

Nov 13, 2020
||

Welcome to the Friday Fourcast, presented by Good Morning to Gamble. I’m Chris Trew, let’s rise and shine with the lines!

It’s a video (soon), it’s a podcast, it’s a blog post, it’s my four favorite bets for this weekend. Y’all ready?

First it’s imperative that I address the elephant in the room. After going 4-0 on last week’s picks, I need to be crystal-clear to every single one of you reading this that it has already gone to my head. I’m a changed man, and I don’t mean just my email signature. The 4-0 start got mentioned in every single conversation I had this past week. The original art piece I commissioned commemorating 4-0 should be complete any day now. Plus, I changed my email signature.

Let’s do it again, y’all. My four favorite picks, brought to you by Good Morning to Gamble.

Iowa Hawkeyes OVER 29.5 points

The Iowa Hawkeyes went into halftime 35-0 against Michigan State last week. If they can’t score over 29.5 points over an entire game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers then I’ll walk to Minnesota tomorrow.

Could take me a while. If this happens, at least I get to pass through Iowa and give them a piece of my mind.

☔️ Underdog of the week: East Carolina +27.5 ☔️

It could be the champagne from last week’s 4-0 record talking but it feels like every time I turn on an East Carolina game they score two touchdowns in less than a minute. As scary as Cincinnati is (as a football city and as a place to raise a family), all I need to do is turn this game on at least twice and that Pirate magic is in full effect.

Screen grabs don’t lie. Cincinnati by 25. Pirates cover!

☀️ Best Bet of the Week ☀️

I’m leaving this justification in the hands of my podcast today. The reasoning rhymes with “butt in pinks” and it’s available right here under this SEO-friendly link: Funny sports betting podcast.

Take your holiday shopping budget and put it in the hands of the Las Vegas Raiders, -4 against the Denver Broncos.

⛈ Worst Pick of the Week ⛈

The New York Giants are getting 3 points against a Philadelphia Eagles team that looks like dog food. There’s nothing to like about New York’s football team but there’s someone even less to like about Philadelphia. That’s mathematically impossible, just like losing money betting against the Eagles is mathematically impossible.

What’s that smell? Smells like a scorching 8-0 debut for the Friday Fourcast column.

See y’all next week!
