WHOAH: Former Leader Of Canada’s Conservatives Accuses His Own Party Of Working With Chinese Communist Party To Interfere In Canadian Elections

Apr 4, 2024

Canada’s foreign interference inquiry was a SHIT SHOW for the Conservative Party of Canada yesterday.

Former CPC Leader Erin O’Toole testified that Chinese interference allowed by the Conservative Party of Canada led directly to his ouster as leader, the installment of Pierre Poilievre, according to his “sources.”

If this is true, and I have no doubt it is, Pierre Poilievre and the Conservative Party of Canada are on the espionage clock. Holy. Shit. #MapleMAGA is REAL.

CBC: Former Conservative leader Erin O’Toole believes foreign interference may have led to his removal as party leader, according to documents tabled before the foreign interference inquiry.

In a document containing notes from an interview between O’Toole and lawyers acting for the Foreign Interference Commission earlier this year, O’Toole is quoted as saying he was suspicious about the motives of the person behind the petition that called for a leadership review following the 2021 election.

“Mr. O’Toole also believes foreign interference played a role in his ouster as party leader,” says the document. “In the immediate aftermath of the election loss, a petition and public relations campaign against Mr. O’Toole was initiated within 48 hours by a high-profile CPC party member who had served on the national council of the party.”

That Conservative Party member was Bert Chen, who was suspended from the party’s national council after launching the petition to recall O’Toole as leader.

“A trusted source in a diaspora group and a journalist have advised Mr. O’Toole in confidence that this specific party member had unusual ties to the [People’s Republic of China] government. Mr. O’Toole has no information to corroborate these claims, but he trusts the sources,” the document says.

“This information was brought to his attention after he had already lost the party leadership.”

O’Toole’s Conservative Party lost the 2021 election, winning 119 of 338 seats, despite winning the popular vote.

Chen’s petition did not lead to O’Toole stepping down as party leader. He was forced to leave the job in February 2022 following an internal caucus revolt.

“Certain things in my report were told to me by people,” O’Toole told Power & Politics host David Cochrane on Wednesday. “I have no verifiable evidence with respect to Mr. Chen or anyone else. But I do think sunlight is the great disinfectant, and we need to have more transparency.”

In an email sent to CBC News, Chen said he launched the petition to elect a new Conservative leader “on the basis that Mr. O’Toole was not fit to lead our country or our party.”

“As a Canadian born in Taiwan whose family fought in the Chinese Civil War against the Chinese Communist Party, I can unreservedly assure all Canadians that I have no ties to the PRC regime,” he said.

“My motivation for the petition to recall Mr. O’Toole’s leadership was due to his flip-flop from his leadership campaign promise to never institute a carbon tax. The fact that he does not mention this is a testimony to the credibility of him and his sources.”

Conservative Party spokesperson Sarah Fischer called O’Toole’s reported allegations “ridiculous.”

“It was the Conservative Party of Canada caucus that voted to remove the then-leader, not a National Council member,” she said in an email to CBC News.

In O’Toole’s testimony before the inquiry on Wednesday, he said Chinese foreign interference may have led to the defeat of up to nine CPC candidates — a claim he has made in the past.

He said his party was a victim of misinformation claims on the social media platform WeChat, used by many Chinese-Canadians.

O’Toole said he believed his party was targeted by the Chinese government in part because of its push to probe Chinese interference in Canada’s National Microbiology Laboratory, in addition to a private members bill supporting a foreign agent registry.

Let’s inject some common sense into this FUCKING BOMBSHELL:

  1. Erin O’Toole gave those statements under oath. Pierre Poilievre’s braindead Coms secretary, Sarah Fischer, lies as she breathes, and *she’s not under oath when she says, “That’s not true!!!” (LOL)- so there’s that.
  2. Erin O’Toole was RAILING against China’s treatment of Uyghurs in work camps and spent months ahead of the pandemic rallying to get a foreign agent registry for Chinese special interest lobby groups and Canada attending the Beijing Olympics. It seems interesting that Bert Chen, National Council Member with Stephen Harper (China/Canada FIPA deal)
  3. It’s also interesting how Erin O’Toole gave his party a couple of outs in his testimony but pointed the finger for his ouster and his party loss at Chinese interference inside his party, for which he says he has privately sourced information that’s is not on the public record, under oath.
  4. What’s also interesting is the extreme silence from PeePee-friendly news outlets (POST-MEDIA, CTV (Bell), and Rogers). It’s mostly what isn’t printed or talked about that gives away the intention.

David Parker from Take Back Alberta told us something BIG is coming regarding Pierre Poilievre. I think you’re seeing the tip of that very shitty iceberg (one man’s opinion based on WAY more than these select news stories).

The ongoing allegations of election criminality aren’t just allegations; they are facts. Debbie Jodoin. Patrick Brown. Secret Membership drives. Merch store sales. Sole sourced contracts from the Conservative Fund for party faithful and family members from recording breaking donations (drifting drives) to stop fake tyranny. Several documented ongoing CSIS investigations into Indian (Modi) interference in select ridings and PeePee’s anger and now total willing ignorance over the expansion of the foreign interference hearing into foreign interference and lobbying by China and India.

And the pièce de résistance: Pierre’s flat our refusal to sit for a National Security background check.

Where I come from, words don’t matter. Works and receipt of those works and the receipts of PeePee being (at the very least) compromised or (at worst) a foreign asset doesn’t seem to be a stretch. You could also make a case that the Conservative Party of Canada is nothing more than a hardline foreign Global lobby group of religious weiners who’d sucked the chrome off a foreign bumper for money and influence.

I feel like that’s Stephen Harper’s job description at this point. To blow as many global autocrats and hardline religious conservative business elites as he can into funding a #MapleMAGA coup through his Incel Manchurian Candidate, Pierre Poilievre – Dollar Store Trump.

I said it when the hearing started – I don’t care who worked with whom, I want EVERY relationship with every party where OUR national security comes into question laid BARE for EVERY CANADIAN.

Those fucking dweebs can’t keep telling us there’s nothing to see here where we can all clearly see. The political institutions and some of the people we elect to safeguard them do not work for you and are compromised.

I don’t need a hearing to tell me that.
