Crier Media At The Honda Indy: Day 3- Christian Lundgaard Wins The Honda Indy

What a weekend it’s been.

Friday we had our very own Colin Livingston and his NASCAR team take home the first-place trophy. Followed by a great day of interviews on Saturday.

Sunday (race day) rolled around and you could feel a change in the air. All the teams tightened things up and you could tell it was a race day.

Griff walked the track for 10 minutes before the drivers started their engines.

Followed by getting up close and personal for the national anthem and flyover.

As soon as the anthem wrapped the boys were off.

Lo and behold on lap #3 we had our first big crash.

While Griff and Rookie were trackside we had our racing expert Colin as the eye in the sky.

After 85 hard-fought laps, Christian Lundgaard took home the victory at the Honda Indy Toronto for his FIRST win ever in an Indycar race.

Our boy Griff got too close for comfort and got sprayed with the winning bottle of champagne. Classic Griff.

It was an amazing weekend and we can’t wait to cover more motorsport moving forward.

PS: I got to watch 60% of the race in the media lounge beside our guy Colin Livingston and it maybe was one of the coolest experiences of the weekend for me, casually chatting and watching racing with a pro. He knew to the second when the guys were going to pit and knew Christian was going to come out on top after lap 42. True story, he called it.
