Epstein docs to be unsealed; Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton & others likely named

Feb 12, 2023

It’s only taken four years, but after a court ruling it looks like the names of the powerful will finally be unsealed after several media outlets requested the case material from a 2015 defamation case against Ghislaine Maxwell in 2015 by Virginia Roberts, who says she had sex with Prince Andrew when she was just 17 years old.

The lawsuit was sealed after a settlement in 2017.

Dozens of names mentioned in the documents did not object to having their names made public, which includes Prince Andrew.

Bill Clinton is likely on most people’s minds as it has been widely reported that he was one of the regulars to visit Epstein’s island. Clinton also hosted Epstein at the Oval Office a reported 17 times during his time as president.

Maxwell’s attorneys had fought to keep the document under seal, saying “The items the plaintiff (Roberts) hopes to unseal contain salacious, unproven allegations.”

From The Daily Mail:

“The final batch of court documents containing ‘salacious’ allegations related to 167 of Jeffrey Epstein’s associates, victims, and employees, will finally be unsealed – nearly four years after the disgraced financier’s death.

The material will be made public in the coming months and, DailyMail.com can reveal, is expected to include information pertaining to at least one ‘public figure.’”

Epstein’s alleged suicide created a cloud of suspicion that remains today. The information he had was thought to be damaging to some of the world’s most powerful people, and many believe his death was no accidental.

The court documents will be released over the next few months, although a specific date has not yet been set.
