Eric And Marc Staal Latest To Refuse To Wear Pride Jersey For Warm Ups Because Jesus Said So

Mar 24, 2023

But willingly wear this jersey???

Man. This is getting weird. Now NHL players who’ve worn a Pride warm-up Jersey in the past are refusing to wear them because Jesus said so.

“After many thoughts, prayers, and discussions we have chosen not to wear a pride jersey tonight.

We carry no judgement on how people choose to live their lives, and believe that all people should be welcome in all aspects of the game of hockey.

Having said that, we feel that by us wearing a pride jersey it goes against our Christian beliefs.

We hope you can respect this statement, we will not be speaking any further on this matter and would like to continue to focus on the game and helping the Florida Panthers win the Stanley Cup.

Eric and Marc Staal”

By simply refusing to wear a Jersey with inclusive colors, they are judging the LGBTQ community and their lifestyle. Choosing not to wear it IS the judgment piece, fellas.

Plus, you’ve both worn them before.  The Duplicity and hypocrisy in the statement of every player who’s chosen to blame their refusal on a dude who died 2000 years ago are funny AF.  Especially when you’ve worn it every year for 6-8 years.  The only reason Reimer and the Staals took a pass is they are hiding behind the threat of Russian Retaliation for the Russian Born Players who use the same excuse for different reasons.

Former Maple Leaf Plug James Riemer Is The Latest NHL Player To Shun LGBTQ Pride Night Because Jesus Said So

So, The Staals and James Riemer are cowards who do judge the LGBTQ Community to be sinners worthy of Hell. They fear being judged by Christ for supporting their homosexual “activity” when they get to heaven. They believe that.

I bet Eric wishes he could take this back, then, huh?

At its worst, Freedom of Religion is a hall pass to be a complete asshole for their very judgy Lord. Imagine dedicating your life a reputation to a Ghost who thinks the gays are of the devil? I can’t. And neither can the good people from the Staal’s hometown of Thunder Bay.

I’ll say it out loud for the Christian Athletes and cowards in the back: “Wearing a pride Jersey doesn’t make you gay any more than wearing a Panthers Jersey makes you a Panther.

It means you accept every human being as worthy of being in the same space as you, regardless of conviction, ideology, or sexual preference. It’s a hat tip to humanity, not a talisman that makes you gay or causes a rift in your relationship with a fake Deity who tells you to hate gay people and their “sinful” sexual lifestyle.

I find the personal safety excuse NHL teams are using to not do pride nights just as much as these cowardly cop-outs, to be honest. The NHL and Christian players hide behind the shield of Religion and an international war while blaming Jesus.  We call those people “Losers” and “Cowards” where I come from.

Eric’s Career has been over for five years, and Marc’s not far behind him on a team that lost BIG to your Leafs last night.

Call it the Pride Night curse, But the Stalls were invisible to terrible with a combined -3, 2 SOG, and a penalty in the defeat.

James Riemer was rinsed by the lowly Canucks in a 7-2 loss the other night, sporting a SWEET .666 save percentage.

There’s no hate like Christian love, friends.
