Houston Texans Have The Worst Fans in the Most Irrelevant Division in Football

Mar 20, 2023

Ever since Peyton Manning left the Indianapolis Colts and joined the Dener Broncos, the AFC South has become the forgotten division of the AFC. Now that Trevor Lawrence is leading the Jacksonville Jaguars it may create some more buzz around the AFC South.

For the first time since starting the Worst Fans in Football’ Tournament, we had a very close poll.

My Vote – Colts

I admit my feelings towards Colts fans probably stems from the Tom Brady vs Peyton Manning rivalry. As a New England Patriots fan, there was no game that got you more amped up than Patriots vs Colts in the mid 2000’s. So, there is some bias in my answer. Colts fans are a little too homerish for my liking, and the general feeling I get is, they still think it’s the glory days.

As for the Houston Texans, that was the team I thought could win the poll. I didn’t have a strong reason behind it, it was more of a gut feeling. I actually don’t have much ill will towards any team in the AFC South, and it’s difficult for me to pinpoint why any of their fan bases would be the worst.

I did an extensive search on Twitter to see what other fans were saying about the Texans and there wasn’t anything. There seems to be a bit of infighting between Houston fans, but that’s all I could find.

One thing I am very confident in this; the Texans won the most votes as having the worst fan base in the AFC South because somebody had to win that honour. I highly doubt we’ll see them win AFC playoff round of the Worst Fans in Football’ Tournamanet.
