Your Fantasy Team Sucks; Here’s Some Last Minute Help

Sunday is another chance to get your fantasy football team to .500 or maybe you’re unbelievably awful and that first win still eludes you. The guys from THNO are here to help you bust out of your funk.

If you can, here are some adds/starts to input into your lineup that just might help you win. Of course, if the first line applies to you, someone else already figured this out and you’ll suck again.

Steve, Chris, and Ryan give you their picks:

STARTS

Steve – Jamaal Williams and Brandon Aiyuk. D’andre Swift is OUT for Sunday and Williams is going to feast against the Seattle defense. He’s projected to get into the 12pt territory. Seattle’s rush defense is tied for second-most yards allowed with 471. Let Williams be your hero like Enrique Inglesias intended.

Brandon Aiyuk will get a prime opportunity to catch a few passes regardless of what the pros say. Trent Williams is out and George Kittle will likely have to do some dirty work in the blocking game. Aiyuk has already seen alot of passes his way and even though I see the Rams still beating up on the 49ers, don’t forget about garbage yards; they may save your day.

Chris – TJ Hockenson is off the injury chart and as you saw above, Swift is out. So is Aman- Ra St. Brown so the tight end in Detroit will factor in against the Seahawks. This isn’t going to be Jared Goff’s day to shine but Hockenson and Williams should make a difference.

Robert Tonyan will see a few extra targets with Sammy Watkins sitting this week. Tonyan hasn’t hauled in a TD yet which means he will probably pull in his first of the campaign. Chris points out that Kyle Pitts had 87 yards against the Hawks last week and was a few overthrows away from a monster game. Bobby T looks good for Sunday.

Ryan – Nyheim Hines had an interesting quote on Twitter this week:

He has seen a lot of looks in the passing game as Jonathan Taylor is the obvious choice at RB. He’s getting 5.5 targets per game so far and averaging 36 yards receiving. I don’t expect him to blow up for 100+ but I also don’t think people should sleep on him either. The Titans are indeed a mighty opponent but there’s something about the Colts against Tennessee that I like. Just a hunch. Im predicting 70 yards receiving and a TD. Bold, I’m aware.

George Pickens (HEY, Ryan is doing one of these picks again) had his most targets of the season last week with seven but only came up for 39 yards on three catches. He made a pretty sick catch in practice this week and it wouldn’t surprise me to see him go off against the Jets. He too, has yet to grab a TD this season, and Week 4 is going to create some memories.

Don’t sleep on this advice like Chris did:
