He was an author and former senator. Hugh Segal never made those of us who were small c conservatives feel we were associated with anything cheap, deceitful or classless. His big brain was attached to an even bigger heart. Conservatism was a truly National movement when Mr. Segal was its eloquent voice. Hugh Segal was 72.
