There has been a vicious misconception that floats around NFL Twitter that nobody in the NFL wants to play with Bill Belichick. In fact, many fans and media members have told us that after Tom Brady left for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, nobody would want to play for the New England Patriots. Belichick sort of shocked the NFL world on Saturday when he swung a trade with the Miami Dolphins and brought in wide receiver DeVante Parker, and get this, Ian Rapoport says that it was Parker’s choice to join the Patriots. I guess that throws a little wrench into the “nobody wants to play for Bill Belichick narrative”.
