Emily Rodger – Elite Athlete + Lessons On Resilience
About the Episode
Emily Rodger is a former elite athlete, avid fly fisher, and Certified Executive Coach. Raised in New Brunswick, Canada along with her three sisters, sports were not part of Emily’s life until well into adulthood. After working as a dental hygienist, she decided to pursue her passion for triathlon and cycling.
Some of Emily’s notable career moments include a 2x UCI GranFondo World Championship, Canadian Masters National Time Trial Championship, and 70.3 Ironman world qualifier. But along with her success in cycling/triathlon, came more than a few hardships.
These life-altering events made her a stronger, more resilient, more grounded, and more grateful athlete/person. She has taken a step back from racing at the professional level to pursue all the things that truly bring her joy.
