About the Episode
Francis ‘Marion’ Parker was the daughter of an affluent banker. In 1927, Marion was taken from her school in plain sight by a man named William ‘Edward’ Hickman. Despite Edward having a clear motive for kidnapping 12-year-old Marion, he would be one of the first people to plead ‘not guilty by reason of insanity’ in the state of California. Was Edward possessed by an evil deity named Providence or was he just a massive dirtbag? The answer to this question seems pretty clear to us!
