About the Episode

Garrett Lombardi was a 20-year-old pre-medicine student from San Diego on a date with his girlfriend when a day full of unexpected circumstances and new plans turned into a pivotal moment in his life, and the woman he would that day save. Garrett Lombardi and his girlfriend stumbled upon a struggling woman at a cliff’s edge and made choices at the moment that ended in the woman contemplating suicide coming away from that ledge unharmed. Garrett says this was God acting through him. Whether you’re a person of faith or not, the incredible humanity and reaction to a situation he’d not ever been in before are awe-inspiring. Garrett is now 21, and with a year removed from the situation, steps into the Inner Circle to share his experience of that day, what it brought to his life, how it changed his faith, and how it reinforced his choice to enter the medical field.
