On this episode of Ray’s Sports Rant I interviewed Griff Bordignon to talk about the Toronto Maple Leafs. We hit on a bunch of different interesting topics. Griff compared the NHL preseason to the NFL, and explained why there’s more interest in football exhibition games than there is in hockey. I asked Griff after countless postseason disappointments, what are Griff’s expectations for the Leafs this upcoming season. Despite having one of the best rosters in the NHL and the best player to ever play for Toronto, the Leafs have played on the goaltender carousel the last four seasons. I asked Griff how much more leash MLSE is going to give Kyle Dubas.
